1831 Director: CUT Entrepreneurship Development Unit (P5) at Central University of Technology, Free State

Main tasks

• Develop policies and operational plans for the unit
• Manage and ensure marketing and implementation of entrepreneurship development activities and income generation (entrepreneurial) activities of the unit
• Manage the performance and development of staff
• Develop, manage, and monitor the budget of the unit
• Provide reports to internal stakeholders
• Supervision of post-graduate students and consequent publications in accredited journals.
• Represent the University at internal/external Forums.

Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience

• Doctorate in Entrepreneurship or equivalent discipline.
• Must have attained the level of at least Senior Lecturer.
• 5 years’ relevant experience, with 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a higher education environment.
• Academic teaching experience with excellence in entrepreneurship research and teaching.
• Accredited scholarly publications.

Desired Qualification, Knowledge And/Or Experience         

• Doctorate in Entrepreneurship or equivalent discipline.
• Must have attained the level of at least Associate Professor.
• 8 years’ relevant experience, with 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a higher education environment.
• Academic teaching experience with excellence in entrepreneurship research and teaching.
• Accredited scholarly publications.
