Creative Assistant at SAOTA

Job Description

We are looking for an intelligent team player who will provide efficient support to the Media and Graphics team. The candidate should be a clear thinking, pro-active, highly organized, approachable and courteous Even though this is an administration and coordination role, it will be advantageous for the candidate to have a good understanding of the marketing discipline to be able to effectively support the team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ordering of company stationery & USBs, liaising with printers, gathering information from various staff members needed to complete this task
• Filing of emails according to the company’s email policy and structure
• Gathering of information to be used in marketing collateral (e.g. brochures, Quarterly, business cards)
• Booking meetings and meeting rooms
• Maintaining the database for direct emailers
• Assistance with monthly reports
• Liaison between the Media team and other company departments
• Research to assist media team with specific tasks (guest lists, contact details, etc)
• Trafficking of information and workflow between various departments

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

• Media, Marketing or Public Relations qualification will be an advantage
• At least 2-3 years prior working experience
• Excellent MS office skills
• A good level of administration experience
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well and stay focused under pressure in a demanding environment

• Prior Ad agency or basic marketing experience is an advantage
