Key Responsibilities
• Full management of creditors across the group for all territories
• Review accounts payable processing by accounts payable team – applicable tax treatment (e.g. VAT, WHT), cost centre allocation and expense/asset allocation weekly
• Ensure all invoices are authorised by team leads and expenses are in department budgets
• Review petty cash capturing
• Review creditors age analysis weekly
• Review and submit payments for weekly payment run
• Advise on tax treatment (e.g., VAT, WHT) on invoices
• Review monthly Creditors reconciliations, Credit Card reconciliations and Petty Cash reconciliations
• Review staff expense claims, in local and foreign currency, on a weekly basis for payment
• Banking - loading of payments / automatic payment run
• Manage accounts payable team (2+ staff)
• Liaising with creditors, bank and internal departments to assist and resolve queries
• Analysis of cash spend and monthly cash requirements per country
• Assist with cost vs budget analysis, at department or country level, where necessary
• Assist in streamlining processes
• Assist with Finance projects as required by the needs of the business
