    Program Manager

    Job description

    Must be willing to travel extensively and be present on the customer site on a weekly basis.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Program Leader is responsible for assuming leadership of client engagements, including implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of the program.
    • The Program Leader will assume overall responsibility for scope management - Work with project sponsors and customers to define; Manages change controls against scope and impacts to time, cost, and quality.
    • Assist in the upfront sales activities. The Program Leader will help define, estimate, and sell related services. This individual will build relationships and credibility with the client throughout the sales cycle.

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years large scale program management including leadership positions in consulting and project management.
    • Strong program & project management experience and the ability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
    • Background in the life insurance & IT services industry - Depth of experience in IT integration with emphasis in solution definition, design, development and delivery of Policy Administration systems.
    • The Program Leader is a senior-level management role requiring a seasoned professional with outstanding judgment as well as leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. It also calls for strategic thinking, the use of decision-making authority, and taking formal responsibility for meeting goals / contractual obligations / SLAs.
    • Proven ability to provide knowledge transfer, thought leadership and solutions, and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits.
    • Demonstrated capability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently, as well as excellent staff management skills.
    • Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of transformation, change management and business process re-engineering solutions
    • Strong customer facing skills and executive presence, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees - Proven ability to manage customer expectations and perform stakeholder management and become “Trusted Advisor”
    • Experience with working in a multi-cultural global environment
    • Experience in managing accounts using internal matrix organizations
