Minimum Requirements -
A+, N+ Technical qualification. MCSE Advantageous
Completed Tertiary Education in IT field
Matric
Valid Driver's license. Own reliable transport (car or bakkie) advantageous.
Minimum 2 year's experience in similar role (customer-facing in service industry)
Fluent in English; Afrikaans advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
Strong desktop and basic Server, network troubleshooting and support
Software & printer installation/setup
Remote Desktop Support
Basic Connectivity Support
Basic Network connectivity fault finding skills. Using tools like Ping, Traceroute etc
Anti-virus Administration
Email client support
Competent with Office 2010 - 2019, MS 365 - installation, support and maintenance
Competent with Windows OS Support (Win 7 - Win10)
Basic competency on Windows Server 2008 - 2019 and Active Directory (Running updates, Active Directory, Setup of users, resetting passwords etc)
Some knowledge on mobile devices. (setting up email etc)
Attributes:
Attention to detail with a systematic approach to problem solving
Proven ability to plan and prioritize work and client expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on accurate and meaningful feedback to user
Must have good telephone etiquette
Presentable and professional attitude towards clients and suppliers
Strong ability to take and follow direction
Salary: R 15 000 - R 20 000 per month
