2 x Project Site Janitors/Cleaners - Kusile Project at ABB

You will be working as Project Site Janitors/Cleaners _ Kusile Project - Fixed Term Contract and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Project Manager – Kusile and will be responsible for taking care of the Project Assets and buildings, carry out cleaning, maintenance & Waste Clearance Duties.

Your responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated Office areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, Restroom Cleaning, Pantry/Kitchen Cleaning. etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supplies and coordinate with the team
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Your background

• Proven working experience as a Janitor/Cleaner
• Ability to handle all cleaning equipment’s and machinery (if applicable)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Should manage their own transport
