    Key Account Manager

    Job description

    Job Purpose
    : To leadsales negotiation with key accounts across multiple sectors including pharmacy chains, distributors, wholesalers and retail groups for Merck brands including Slow-Mag and Ilidian

    Specific job requirements

    • Have a goodunderstanding of the South AfricanConsumer Healthcare industry
    • Ability to plan and implement strategies for customers and align to the Consumer marketing strategies
    • Align customer promotions activities with internal trade marketing teams
    • Ability to collaborate with external and internal customers in a way that generates trust, confidence and co-operation
    • Experience in negotiations with key stakeholders
    • Operate ethically and work independently
    • Manage budgets per customer
    • Work closely with Stakeholders on all committed promotions
    • Creative thinking toidentifyadditional sales opportunities
    • Forward thinking to solvecomplex trade issues
    • Entreprenurial and able to partner with a range of different customer groups

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum 5years+ salesexperience in medical sales,FMCG or closely related industries

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification (B.Comm / Equivalent Commercial qualification).
