    Business Development Consultant

    Job description

    Duties & Responsibilities: (Key Delivery Areas)

    • Customer research
    • Consultative, diagnostic customer engagement to sell multiple products
    • Customer relationship management
    • Closing of deals and meeting of targets
    • Admin related to the sales process
    • Very good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • 28 years of age +
    • Post-matric qualification in sales, training or a business-related field
    • Minimum of 8 years’ sales experience, 5 years’ experience in consultative sales
    • Proven track record in developing new business
    • Consultative Business-to-Business (B2B) sales with a long sales cycles (Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in consultative sales environments)
    • Proven track record of selling at the C-Suite (CEO, MD) level
    • Proven sales history of achieving deals of between R300 000 – R1m per month

    Skills & Competencies (Role Requirements):

    • Self-starter
    • Excellent numerical / analytical ability
    • High business acumen / ability to hold in-depth discussions on business topics
    • Excellent communication skills; both face to face and telephonic
    • Highly customer centric
    • Pro-active, structured, deadline focused and passionate about learning and development
    • High levels of self-motivation & responsibility
    • Uncompromising standards of excellence, integrity & attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a structured environment
    • Own Transport with valid driver’s license and Cell phone

    Offer:

    A CTC of between R20 000 - R35 000 per month that includes medical aid, retirement contribution and travel and cell phone allowances. The basic is negotiable up to 10% above current earnings and a proven track record.
    This position also includes excellent monthly, quarterly and annual commissions that range up to R300k per annum above the basic. Annual earnings are not capped.
    Receive training on international programs & in-house training worth R130 000
