    Lead Architect & Web Developer - Benefits Online

    Job Description

    Manages design, configuration, and implementation for a large or several small to medium systems. Deals with most difficult or complex systems and generates new design ideas. Interfaces with business areas to ensure all initiatives support business strategies and goals. Primary liason with vendors, consultants and Sr Tech Mgrs. Responsible for staffing, performance management and compensation decision making. Ensures proper training and staffing on an on-going and project basis. Typically 5 or more years of architecture experience.

    This positions is for a lead architect and web developer for Benefits Online Website.

    Responsibilities include

    • building high performing website solutions by utilizing in-depth knowledge of software engineering with Web based Object Oriented Technologies like .NET, C++, ASP, HTML, XML, Oracle, AJAX/JQUERY.
    • Leverage VISIO and Microsoft project plan in design phases and implementation phases to document the SAD and task assignment to offshore developers.
    • Work with product and business managers from the beginning of the product cycle through release. Develop web services for the mid-tier using .NET and WCF.
    • Implementation of web services across multiple channels by leveraging external client web services over the internet using WCF client certificates and FedLogin security models.
    • Design and development of .NET and ASP UI with web pages using advanced AJAX/JQUERY. Utilize Visual Studio .NET and Team Foundation Server.
    • Participate in creating detailed test scripts and test programs to support SQA.
    • Propose framework enhancement and opportunities for system enhancements to improve performance and overall user experience. Support changes and enhancements from initial development through production deployment.
    • Develop new systems and programs as required by the customer to include both upgrades and new releases.
    • Work with large-scale distributed system environments, and handle special projects as required to completion.
    • Lead onshore and offshore teams.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in C#, WCF services and MVC.Net
    • Expertise in web technologies including ASP, ASP.Net, client-side scripting language like Javascript, JQuery.
    • Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
