Job purpose
- To provide support to the marketing team and key business stakeholders in developing messaging graphics and copy for brochures, presentations, post cards, mailers and an array of designs to support the sales and marketing function to deliver excellence over Glacier’s competitors in both traditional and digital formats.
- To have an understanding of social media platforms and have the ability to assist with implementing these initiatives and have insight into the web environment.
Key Outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Graphic Design Specialist:

Develop and execute marketing campaign concepts across media including: designing and modifying collateral, labels/packages, creating event invitations, brochures, flyer designs, magazine print, graphic images, print collateral/direct mail, promotions, preparing/editing professional presentations and company documents

Brainstorm and mock up design ideas for marketing collateral with through-the-line conceptualisation

Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer software to execute designs

Interpret stakeholder’s requirements and balance Corporate Identity (CI) and brand positioning for delivery of world-class presentation material

Seeing all projects through from concept, design to production and briefing print requirements to agencies

Working collaboratively with the marketing department on all creative projects in line with brand identity standards and brand guidelines

Assist with developing, executing and tracking web and online campaigns
-
Create user interfaces and other graphic elements for websites

Engage with suppliers or printers where required
-
Communicate with people outside the organisation, representing agencies responsible for outsourced design or development projects

Compile PowerPoint presentations

Provide guidance and input for third-party agencies

Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the marketing team and strategic partners to the team
Qualifications and experience
-
Tertiary qualification in graphic design
-
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite design programmes
-
Has a thorough understanding of typography, photography and graphic design and has proven Powerpoint expertise
