Job Description

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5 years’ Managerial experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in running a branch
• Experience in development of Outdoor sites
• Previous experience construction or other technical fields will be advantageous
• Project management will be beneficial
• Fluency in English - oral and letter/report writing skills
• Must be computer Literate

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure profitability of the KZN area
• Ensure on-going Airport site selection, maintenance and regular inspections
• Build the JCDecaux brand across the KZN area that enforces our product as the best available “out-of-home” Media Group
• Implement the appropriate and necessary systems, strategies, action plans and controls required, to improving general operational and management delivery as well as to fully achieve all stated business objectives and budget targets
• Provide strong management control over all business disciplines – operations, development, finance and human resources
• Enhance growth of branch by constantly pursuing new sites, seeking development opportunities, upgrade existing sites and report poor sites for culling
• Ensure a diverse supply chain to provide flexibility of delivery
• Continuously looking for and implementing improvements in efficiencies to ensure timeous service delivery
• Proactive networking and fostering good relationships with Landlords, Councils, and Developers
• Manage, service, check & maintain all advertising media types in branch
• Compile monthly reports for the relevant Heads of Departments:
• Submitting an Operations report based on planned vs. achieved work in the field: inspections of subcontractors, painting, structural maintenance, greenery etc.as well as budget variances
• Management of sub-contractors (including the checking of flighting schedules, signing of reconciled invoices and check actual work done by sub-contractor as per photo proof)
• Managing rates for all services and material utilised in order to secure best value to the company
• Manage stock in branch
• Assist with sales related queries & development queries in branch
• Quarterly Fusion asset audits and updates
• Weekly illumination checks
• Monthly checks of subcontractor work for: quality of work, following the protocol of work prescribed and adherence to Health and Safety rules
• Ensuring that subcontractors have update Health and Safety files as well as monitoring the information contained
• Inspecting and signing off new structures
• Reconcile Petty Cash monthly
• Safety representative, report to the 16.2 appointee responsible for the Occupational Health and Safety Act
