    Account Manager

    Job description

    To effectively manage the Recruitment Desk and Contractors within a dedicated client environment.

    Qualifications and experience:

    The successful applicable must have the following qualifications and / or experience

    • Matric
    • Excellent PC skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Great people skills will be dealing with candidates and clients
    • 2 years’ experience in IT recruitment
    • Proven track record
    • Confidentiality is a key requirement
    • Flexibility in terms of time – overtime will be required where business demands

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The successful applicant will be responsible for, among others, the following functions:
    • Growth of direct contracting headcount at client
    • Attending to contractor care activities
    • Managing payment and payroll of all contractors and ensuring they are paid on time
    • Advising candidates on contract types: Independent contractor, consultancy or FTE
    • Dealing with contractor queries in a timeous manner
    • Handling in client escalations in relation to contractor non-performance
    • Conducting disciplinary action if needed for FTE contractors
    • Ensure all contracts are correctly completed and signed off
    • Rate negotiations with contractors
    • Attending to contract renewals timeously.
    • Looking at internal mobility to ensure contractors who are finishing off are placed in other qualified positions so as to keep current headcount
    • Innovative utilization of various job portals and networking opportunities to source
    • Sourcing and submitting suitably qualified candidates to meet client requirements as managed through the onsite MSP
    • Building a pipeline of suitably qualified resources to anticipate and meet client
    • requirements
    • Ensuring all candidates are submitted with the required compliance documentation and
    • uploaded to VMS accordingly
    • Strict adherence to client recruitment deadlines
    • Managing the logistics of candidate interview with clients via the MSP Consultant
    • Maintaining & developing close working relationship with the MSP consultant
    • Management of all rate negotiations and ensuring in line with client requirements and rate cards, whilst achieving savings for the clients
    • Ensuring growth through offering innovative solutions
    • Project Managing the recruitment process
    • Obtaining detailed specs from MSP consultant
    • Ensuring adherence to fair and legal recruitment processes
    • Generating relevant reports on a weekly, monthly and adhoc basis
    • Ensure all integrity and verification checks are performed
