    2x Credit Controllers (Milnerton/Century City)

    Description

    • Ecowize is seeking 2 Credit Controllers to join the Finance Team in Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to ensure financial operational excellence by managing assigned debtors’ portfolios.
    • The focus will be on recovering high-value accounts and increasing cash flow through the achievement of collection targets, while maintaining efficient account management and financial accuracy.

    High-level Job Objectives

    • Take responsibility for a portfolio of accounts.
    • Manage credit and collection policies and procedures.
    • Manage posting of receipts to accounting systems.
    • Drive effective communication with all stakeholders.
    • Identify Continual Service Improvement initiatives

    Key responsibilities

    Manage collections effectively to ensure weekly and monthly targets are met.

    • Reconcile complex customer accounts
    • Process Accurate Receipting
    • Prepare weekly/Monthly reports for management.
    • Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
    • Be an ambassador to drive efficiencies through effective communication.
    • Analyze and manage the collections improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    Minimum requirements

    • Qualification or certification in Accounting (advantageous)
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in effectively managing debt collections
    • Solid experience in Finance
    • Experience working within a Shared Services environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word)
    • Experience with Accpac (Sage 300)
    • Power BI experience would be advantageous
    • Good understanding of business processes
    • Knowledge of business systems, including the application of automation and digitisation to improve processes
