    Business Development Executive

    Job description

    We are looking for a dynamic, driven individual with services sales experience into the business-to-business sector and wanting to further his/her career. The individual needs to be target driven, have the ability to learn quickly and effectively, as the service we offer is specialised and strategic.

    You would be selling Enterprise and Supplier Development and Preferential Procurement solutions in relation to the B-BBEE to corporates and big business contacts across a wide range of posts from CEO, CFO, Procurement, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, BEE & Transformation. Naturally, your understanding and current relationships within these areas will be an added advantage.

    KEY OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Planning and executing sales interventions
    • Generating leads for potential sales
    • Qualifying leads for sales execution
    • Identifying sales prospects and contacting these (cold calling)
    • Conducting research into customers to match needs with solutions
    • Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients
    • The ability to determine the decision maker in the sales process and develop a solution that is conducive to closing the deal.
    • Conducting meetings with all levels within the business including C-Suite executives
    • Conducting in depth needs analyses in order to determine the best solution to meet their needs
    • Preparing presentations, proposals and sales contracts
    • Negotiating deals with clients and being highly persuasive with a goal to close the deal.
    • Developing and maintaining product knowledge
    • Identifying and resolving client concerns
    • Reporting on sales schedules, activities and planned actions
    • Comfort and engagement with the company CRM including data management Working as part of a team

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years’ experience in a services sales, business-to-business environment with a track record of closing high value deals.
    • Valid Code 8 driver's license essential with own reliable vehicle.
    • Advanced knowledge of PC use
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Explorer).
    • Experience in the business development and transformation industry will be an added bonus

    REMUNERATION

    Remuneration will be based on performance targets on a bi-monthly basis and a market related basic salary depending on experience.
