    Analyst Prog/Des O/O I

    Job Description

    Purpose:

    Develop and maintain backend and frontend applications. Design, code, test and implement configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. Initial focus on reporting services and systems.

    Principal duties and responsibilities:

    •  Analyse, research, design and document tech requirements
    •  Developed/modify software modules or project to meet the requirements
    •  Ensure the quality of software by performing tests
    •  Ensure software modules/project to successfully deployed to the production environment by completing accurate configuration and maintenance/operating documents
    •  Perform routine maintenance on production systems
    •  Act upon and resolve all logged maintenance & support requests
    •  Mentor peers in terms of technology, good practice and design

    Minimum requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Computer Sciences degree
    • Working experience: 6 - 8 years’ related experience.
