Integration and AV Systems Technician at 4ward-design

Job description

4ward-design, a Cape Town based technology integrator, is looking for a suitable systems engineer/programmer.

The suitable candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Networking knowledge.
• Proof of suitable qualifications is required. Ability to install and configure enterprise grade network hardware and wireless equipment advantageous.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Knowledge of AV and automation programming advantageous.
• People skills - ability to work under pressure for demanding clients whilst always adhering to 4ward-designs policies.
• Knowledge of configuring audio visual equipment.
• Ability to fault find and logically problem solve.
• Willing to work with a team and fit into company project procedure. Willing to attain industry certifications and maintain a culture of continuous industry up-skilling. Willing to travel and work on sites outside of Cape Town. Valid driver’s licence and passport essential.

Job description (not limited to):

• Installation and configuring of audio visual systems, controllable lighting systems, building automation, home automation and networking.
• Basic setup and installation (plug and play) of the above systems.
• Installation and setup of media solutions.
• Experience working with the following systems are advantageous KNX, Crestron, Control4. General Short listed candidates will be required to undergo practical skills testing.
• The successful candidate will be required to work a probation period. Salary will depend on skill level.
