Key Responsibility Areas:

• Provide technical/professional advice on electricity issues.
• Prepare, monitor and control capital and operating budgets.
• Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
• Maintain, enhance and encourage good public relations.
• Supervise and monitor the performance, development and conduct of staff.
• Manage and oversee projects allocated to consultants and contractors.
• Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements and investigate new systems, practices and technology.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 5 years relevant post registration experience in the Electricity Supply Industry
• Computer Literacy.
