Job Description

• Prospero teaching are seeking to recruit energetic, enthusiastic, inspiring and skilled Key Stage 2 teacher , to work in a popular and high achieving school in Mitcham with their year 4 class from September 2017 until the end of the academic year in the first instance, in order to continue the school's development, now and for the future. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher on the Main Pay Scale.
• The successful candidate will need to be an excellent practitioner, with a good knowledge and understanding of primary education. The role will call for excellent behaviour management skills, early identification of SEN, as well as outstanding self-management and organisational skills, in order that every child may flourish and reach their full potential
• The School is a 2 form entry primary school with currently around 420 children on roll. The school has been recently redeveloped, winning numerous awards for the architecture. The school team are very much commit-ted to outstanding education for all of their children. The school also think learning should be 'real', fun and memorable. They strive to deliver stimulating, fun and challenging daily learning experiences through their creative curriculum.

• To Be Eligible You Must
• Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
• Have UK teaching experience.
• Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a current and up to date DBS disclosure.
• Be creative and innovative.
• Have drive and tenacity.
• Encourage students to reach their full potential.
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Positive and creative approach to teaching.
