    Head Of Marketing

    Job Description

    As the Head of Marketing at Mobile Guardian, you need to demonstrate:

    • Ability to develop and execute a global marketing strategy, but also be the hands-on executor.
    • Strong track record of positioning a brand and a good understanding of the IT services and technology industry.
    • Have an appreciation of good visual design, and comfortable working with designers to get the right results.
    • Hands on in: the real world (events, community involvement, conferences) and the online world (media/social media, groups, forums)
    • Confidence to be part of the Mobile Guardian leadership team.
    • Ideally you will have previous multi-sector marketing technology industry experience in a B2B environment, shaping value propositions and ABM (account-based marketing) solutions (non-vendor product) with a demand lead focus (not defaulting to a traditional lead generation model).
    • The marketing role is seen as an extension of the sales team - you need to have a commercial mind - including the ability to generate leads, offer complete sales support, database and target audience analysis as well as create and measure sales campaigns.
    • Experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans, monitoring performance and managing budgets.
    • Strong background in digital content marketing with an ability to utilise the right content, at the right time, through the right channels to progress leads through the funnel.

    Responsibilities

    • Digital marketing strategy.
    • Management of website content including tonality and customer messaging.
    • Assist with customer feedback into product development.
    • Oversee creation of blogs – approval of content and schedule social strategy to align with product offering.
    • Production of digital and hard sales and marketing collateral including stationery.
    • Supporting the sales team by driving registrations through online marketing mediums.
    • Management of ecommerce and digital marketing metrics.
    • Coordinate development of digital marketing assets.
    • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns and SEO.
    • Manage and coordinate PR.

    Qualifying criteria

    • A candidate with a proven track record of success in their academic achievements and career.
    • A three+ year degree in business, marketing or communications, with honours.
    • An MBA would be advantageous.
    • A minimum of four years' marketing experience.
    • Experience working across marketing channels - digital, ATL, partnerships - with demonstrable results.
    • Google analytics and SEM knowledge.
    • Analytics: ability to analyse data to improve strategic decision making and implementation.
    • A stickler for detail.
    • A real ‘go-getter’.
    • Upbeat attitude.
    • Innovative.
    • Creative.
