    Resource Manager

    Job Description

    . JOB PURPOSE:

    • Responsible for the overall wellbeing of the programme resources including employees, fixed term contractors, independent contractors, and ad hoc resources
    • To oversee provide the recruitment team with current and future requirements based on the sales pipeline and current contracts
    • Providing input into appointment of suitable staff
    • Ensure continuous alignment between resource capacity and resource plan
    • Effective onboarding of programme resources
    • Managing the people aspect of programmes, including but not limited to performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, training and development and succession planning.
    • Ensuring that best practice methodologies and processes are applied to meet resourcing objectives
    • Provide suitable career planning, coaching and guidance to programme resources to enable them to perform optimally
    • Performance management

    Recruitment:

    • Providing the recruitment team with ESS resourcing requirements and projections
    • Contributing to the recruitment strategy and process enhancements.
    • Reviewing CVs and shortlisting of suitable candidates provided by the recruitment team
    • Participating in interviews
    • Providing input into appointment decision making
    • Ensuring vacancies are filled with the best talent available
    • Ensure recruitment process is professional, timeous, and tailored for both candidates and business
    • Contribute to ICT-Works vision of being an employer of choice
    • Resource Scheduling
    • Provide ESS leadership with suitable resources for projects and programmes
    • Build a talent database and pipeline to ensure ESS has the capacity to deliver on all current and projected projects and programmes
    • Effectively schedule resources to projects and programmes
    • Ensure resources are effectively utilised
    • Create and maintain headcount plans

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    Education:

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant Tertiary qualification an advantage
    • HR related courses such as Labour Relations, Performance Management, Coaching an advantage

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT outsourcing environment
    • 3-5 years experience in people management

    Knowledge:

    • Labour Legislation
    • IT Recruitment best practice
    • Performance management
    • Performance management
    • Resourcing plans and scheduling
    • Microsoft Office with solid experience with MS PowerPoint.
