    Sales Executive - Digital (Junior to Mid)

    Job description

    What is this about:

    • You will be responsible for our cold calling, database building, door knocking and conctact card updates for promoting our "Take your business to mobile with an app" campaign and services.
    • You will be responsible for all cold lead generation
    • You are very diligent, and track all your contact interactions on paper or with a tool
    • You will work with an amazing team of creatives and technologists in a fast growing company
    • You will learn a lot about mobile apps and the digital space very quickly. We can teach you the tech stuff - we need you to be experienced in cold calling and contact database building

    Minimum Requirements

    • Degree or Diploma (preference for Sales or IT related subjects / courses)
    • 2 years or more sales experience (preferably for a digital related company)
    • Existing contacts / customer database which can be used as a basis to sell to and to at the same time grow the contact database

    Ideal Candidate Characteristics

    • Is a team player, and wants to part of something that is unique and exciting
    • Self driven / Can do attitude: the candidate will not be micro managed and will be expected to show initiative and commitment to driving sales 
    • Ability to apply rigour contacting potential customers at pre-defined intervals
    • Persistent but not pushy: We at Kazazoom believe that our products and offerings provide a competitive advantage without providing the “hard sell” approach sometimes used
    •  Good communicator and natural sales person: relates to being able to sell products we genuinely believe in  
    • Have the ability to quickly get an understanding of Kazazooms product offerings: what we have done in the past, current projects and what is in the pipeline. This will help showcase our capabilities and relationships to potential customers
    • Have an understanding of, and interest in mobile applications or software in general
    • Be inquisitive: keep abreast of the market trends, hot new apps being used, by who
    • Have integrity and transparency. This sounds obvious but these are some of the foundations that are critical at Kazazoom.

    Responsibilities

    • Database Building: Researching and creating a customer sales database (by industry, company size, contacts in those companies etc etc)
    • Cold Calling - Contacting new potential customers – this will include cold calling
    • Weekly Sales Contact Contact Card Updates
    • Following up on potential customers already contacted
    • Having initial discussions on what Kazazoom does and how that may assist the customer
    • Setting up initial meetings with the Kazazoom CEO and developer staff (if required)
    • Attend those meetings if required
    • Set goals on the number of calls to be made per day
    • Set goals on the amount of meetings that resulted from the calls that were made
    • Report weekly on the actual performance achieved versus the goals set (calls made, meetings scheduled, sales made)
    • Keep detailed status reports on contacts made, next steps, by date etc
    • Attend some of the daily Stand-up meetings to understand what the team is busy with
    • Relationship building with existing clients
