    Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    Job Purpose:

    The Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing the marketing strategy across both the business to business and business to consumer target market segments. This includes all internal and external marketing activities and communication campaigns

    The successful candidate will be based at the ooba Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Head of Marketing.

    Responsibility:

    • Responsible for the design and craftsmanship of all communications used internally and externally
    • Working with designers to create communication for brochures, invites, adverts, emailers, newsletters etc.
    • Assistance and maintenance of the brands' social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
    • Development and implementation of brand advertising programs
    • Working with designers on the development of visual adverts
    • Sales and brand marketing collateral to be kept current
    • Ordering and following up on deliveries of products, promo items etc. to regional sales offices
    • Assisting with trade shows/launches: includes sourcing of display products, designing banners
    • Quote sourcing for marketing collateral, promo items
    • Familiarity with social media/online marketing
    • Management of budget, cost allocation and monthly budget tracking and recons.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Marketing Degree/Diploma
    • At least 3-5 years' experience in the field
    • Numerical and communication skills
    • Excellent written English – writing experience advantageous
    • Computer literate
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook and Excel
