Finance Assistant at Enel Energy

Job description

We are looking to expand our retail business and looking for a Finance Assist to join our team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to Enel Energy SA and will be reporting to the Head of Business Planning and Deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and provide financial information, plans and projections to the business
• Perform analysis of financial studies and prepare summary reports for management, maintenance and planning
• Analyse and interpret local trends.
• Provide advice to business that falls within subject matter of the role
• Receipt and validation of supplier invoices (assets, services, materials) & preparation for posting in SAP (Goods received and services received)
• Preparation of purchase requisition request as well as POs for micro contracts
• Assistance in the new vendor registration process
• Maintenance of debtors and suppliers age analysis and monthly reconciliations
• Assistance in the preparation of the monthly cash flow & other reporting as needed
• General administrative assistance for the department
• Confirmation of sales orders and instalments received
• Ensuring goods shipped to customers match the sales order form
• Responsible for facilitating the recognition of signed customer orders as revenue and the cost of sales related to the completed installations
• Interaction with other departments in order to help resolve SAP related issues
• Management of Inventory Flow – importing goods, clearing goods through customs, delivery to warehouse etc.
• Inventory management including costing, stock obsolesces and stock counts as required
• Contract Management
• Coordinate with Operations and Installations to ensure orders are closed the moment customers sign off
• Other ad hoc requests

Requirements:

Educational

Related commercial diploma or degree (finance or accounting) essential

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years financial expereince within a finance or accounting department
• Retail or solar industry experience advantageous.
• Must have a working knowledge of SAP
