- 1st/2nd line IT Support
- Installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of user workstations on company network
- Format and reload of user machines, ensuring all user data is backed up and secured before format
- Microsoft Operating System (Installation, configuration and troubleshooting) _ Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
- Windows server 2003/2008/2012
- User management in Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment
- Willingness to learn new skills, and keep up with technological advances
- Network configuration and trouble-shooting – End-User side
- Printer configuration and troubleshooting
- Diagnosis skills of technical issues
- Ensuring correct software is loaded onto the end users’ machine before delivery
- Front line desktop support via service desk initiated requests
- Troubleshoot problems over phone or via remote desktop technologies
- Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
- User rights management via group membership changes in active directory
- Follow-up on all unresolved calls, with feedback being provided back to client
- Good all round IT skills including an in-depth understanding of PC’s and software
- Documentation and communication:

- Minimum 4 to 6 years’ solid hands on experience in desktop support
- Minimum Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) required
- A+ and N+ or relevant Microsoft qualification will be an advantage
- Passionate, responsible and dedicated in their approach towards the IT industry
- Keen learner, able to apply new technologies/methods as they become available
