Role Description

• Delegates work, relies on senior students to take responsibility for their own work as well as that of the junior students that report to them. Should be able to function independently with little support from line manager.
• Formal qualifications needed to perform role:
• BSc Actuarial Science degree

Knowledge and experience:

• Able to perform technical work
• At least 2 years relevant experience whilst completing Actuarial exams

Key performance areas:

• Management and development of at least one junior student.
• Perform and check statutory valuations, reviews, benefit calculations, investment returns and other ad-hoc actuarial work.
• Attend Trustee meeting with Actuary and consultant, and effect actuarial work arising from the meetings.
