    Executive: Sales & Marketing (Pharmaceutical - Kylami JHB)

    Job description

    Job Profile:

    Accountable and responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the company to grow sales and to meet and exceed financial targets.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Development and execution of sales strategies
    • Lead the development and execution of sales strategy of the company together with members of management
    • Analyse the company strategy to determine the strategic direction and implications.
    • Identify, assess and mitigate against commercial risks
    • Develop and execute effective promotional strategies for the various product groups
    • Identify and manage relationships with the relevant role players in accordance with business requirements
    • Perform market trend analysis
    • Business Development:
      • Develop and execute business development plans
      • Identify new opportunities, negotiate and close deals
      • Support Sales Managers in capitalizing on opportunities
      • Drive the sales budget process
    • Financial Management:
      • Facilitate the pricing structure of products
      • Determine the Gross Profits to meet the profitability requirements
      • Perform sales analysis
      • Grow sales and achieve
    • People Management:
      • Determine the human resource requirements, permanent and contractors, in accordance with the expected deliverables
      • Set KPI's and manage performance
      • Prepare and implement a Succession Plan
      • Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements of the country
      • Meet safety targets
      • Ensure customer complaints are managed accordingly
      • Ensure compliance the ISO 9001 in the division.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in commerce or science (MBA will be an added advantage)
    • Management Development Program
    • More than 10 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences and related industries
    • At least five years’ experience in senior management role
