Space Planner at DotActiv

Job description

With knowledge and experience of retail space planning and the workings of the tactical category management industry you will be directly responsible for the production of Assortment Plans, Floor Space Plans, Shelf Space Plans (Planograms), floor- and space plan analytical reviews, ranging reports and category analytical reviews for a number of retail categories.

Using DotActiv’s Powerful Space Planning Software, all outputs aim to maximise customer and category performance. Space plans must achieve optimal use of shelf and floor space by taking category strategies and plans, product financial performance, shopper psychology and aesthetic appeal into consideration. Further: as a retail space planner you will often be required to provide guidance to our customers.

Requirements:

• Ability to combine aesthetic appeal with data insights.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong People Skills.
• Computer Literacy - MS Office.
• Retail and/ or Supply Chain related degree or diploma.
• Driver’s license and own transport.
• Modern corporate dress sense.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Assertive.
• Team player.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Work at a fast pace with high accuracy.
• Creative flair and ability to identify aesthetic/visual appeal.
