    The Opportunity

    • This position offers an excellent balance between professional development and personal wellbeing. There are no after-hours duties, with patients requiring overnight or intensive care referred to nearby specialists and referral hospitals. This allows the veterinary team to focus on delivering high-quality clinical care while maintaining sustainable working hours.
    • The ideal candidate will be a qualified and SAVC-registered Veterinarian with approximately 2–3 years of small animal clinical experience. Newly qualified veterinarians with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
    • Ensure all team members provide quality and ethical care to all clients and their pets.
    • Assess, examine, and diagnose patients’ medical issues.
    • Perform surgery, dress, and treat wounds.
    • Perform diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required.
    • Prescribe medication.
    • Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations.
    • Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices for pets.
    • Euthanise patients if and when needed.
