Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.

Summary

Job Summary Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and Prepare Structural Design for Industrial and Commercial Buildings.
• Design of Concrete Steel and Timber Structures including Flat Slab Design, Column Design, Foundation Design, using amongst others Finite Element Design Software.
• Site Supervision and Administration.
• Application and use of the IMS System.
• Project Management of Small to Medium Projects.
• Management of a team of structural engineers, technicians and modellers.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements Experience

Minimum 6 years ‘relevant experience.

Preferred skills

• Computer literate.
• MS Office suite.
• Prokon, AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Robot and Orion will be advantageous.

Personal Attributes

• Good interpersonal skills;
• Excellent reading and writing skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction;
• Willing to travel on an ad-hoc.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Eng. and Pr Eng.
