    Property Manager

    Job description

    Reports To: Director of Business Development

    Purpose of Role:

    The Manager: Property is actively involved in all Group functions that directly impact physical property including planning, negotiating, sourcing and successful delivery of properties. Tactical & operational execution of the property strategy is key to the purpose of this position, however this position will also be required to co-develop strategy and provide inputs to property strategy that supports the organisational strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sourcing new properties for the Network
    • Building and maintaining relationships in the property sector
    • Manage property acquisitions
    • Manage property projects including site management
    • Be involved in and facilitate town planning aspects of property
    • Be aware or property and contractual laws that impact their function
    • Be involved in the design process
    • Manage property related contractors and vendors
    • Developing long term property plans, including planning for expansion of existing and additional schools
    • Collaborating with designers and partners to innovate around school design and location, promoting effective use of space
    • Participating in the completion of the annual budget and regular property reports

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    Experience

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    • 5 - 7 years experience in property management, including;
    • Experience managing property contacts
    • Experience managing property contractors
    • Project and site management experience
    • Property design experience
    • Town planning experience a benefit but not a requirement
    • Experience leading a team is preferential
