You will be responsible to control and oversee all business operations, staff and clients and will be responsible for the overall success of the agency.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to open new markets while being hands-on with the existing client base and who will cultivate a motivated and high-performing team. You are a team player who can drive the success of your own agency while being an integral part of the senior management team of Group Africa Marketing.
Experience in a non-traditional agency environment is crucial. You are well versed in long hours, hard work and in supporting and motivating the team while driving the agency to achieve greater heights. Financial accountability is key and you have the drive to reach and better annual targets.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Managing Director role or similar senior management position
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
- Thorough knowledge of an agency environment and the activations, digital and events market
- Proven financial experience to monitor, control and meet budgets and targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
