    Brand Executive

    Job description

    British American Tobacco currently has an exciting new opportunity for a Brand Executive to be based in our South Africa office (Cape Town) on a permanent basis.

    As a Brand Executive you’ll be required to support the Brand Manager in the following duties:

    • Brand and Project management through the development and implementation of brand projects and campaigns in market - ensuring adherence to brand standards and on time;
    • Managing local and global creative agencies;
    • Managing internal and global stakeholders and presenting to stakeholders at all levels;
    • Project management and tracking campaign performance (through data sources), budget management and reporting;
    • Initiating research projects as part of campaign development;
    • Presenting to various forums and stakeholders on a bi-monthly/ monthly basis.

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years experience in marketing or brand manager role;
    • Formal Marketing Qualification (Degree or higher);
    • Fluency in written and spoken English;
    • Strong analytic skill & logical/creative thinking;
    • Assertive self-starter with a strong ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
    • Trade Marketing knowledge;
    • Have worked with Research Agencies and understand research methodologies;
    • Line Management experience;
    • Elements of the marketing mix – BTL, price, promotion, planograms, product (range), space management, research methodologies and consumer segmentation;
    • Be able to display an all round joyful sociability with a wide range of people.
