Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, multi-faceted Front-End Developer to join our Cape Town team. If you have a passion for delivering beautiful, responsive, and functional websites, this role is for you.

The successful candidate would to be able to analyse and question requirements and designs and then bring solutions to life with care, craft and passion.

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 3 years commercial experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Extensive knowledge in frontend development technologies- i.e
• HTML/CSS3/Javascript.
• Experience with the latest SPA frameworks used in the frontend world (preferably Angular/2)
• Strong Javascript coding knowledge without the aid of jQuery.
• Experience using CSS preprocessing tools such as SASS and LESS.
• Comfortable using version control tools such as GIT.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing code for application performance via debug tools.
• Experience working with Photoshop and pixel perfect conversion of designs into web pages.
• Proficient knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience building responsive web page for wide variety of mobile platforms.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to different technology stacks where applicable.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling via, third-party and backend rest APIs.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working with backend technologies such as PHP and .NET.
• Canvas and WebGL experience.
• Exposure to CMS tools, such as Wordpress, Drupal, Embraco etc.
• Unit testing frameworks and test driven development experience.
• Mobile web app development experience. i.e Cordova/Ionic.
• Experience coding use Typescript and Angular 2.
• Knowledge and experience with Typescript and or ES6 OO development.
• Previous Magento/2 frontend development.
• Interests in NodeJS and Express frameworks.
• Creating animations using the Greensock library (Tweenmax/TweenLite)
