Country Traffic Scheduler at Faurecia

Faurecia South Africa is looking for a Country Traffic Scheduler, to be located at our plant in Uitenhage.

The Country Traffic Scheduler is responsible for defining the weekly transport plan and monthly transport scheme in cooperation with the Plant Traffic Schedulers as well as calculation of truck utilization – truck loading scheme- creation of new transport proposal if necessary, creation of transport budget, updating of logistics transport database.

The Main Missions Of The Role Are To

• Coordinate and exchange information with the several departments and Plants
• Create new transport concepts for the Country
• Cooperate with the Transport Leader for the region in case of common transport organization.
• Create transport and services agreement with logistics partners
• Coordinate freight acquisition with a focus on filling rate for cost optimization
• Control Transport costs for the Country

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement / Logistics
• Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Power Point, Word, SAP, Cargo Wiz
• 5 years experience in Transport flows in an industrial environment or Freight Forwarder, preferably in the automotive industry
• Results-oriented, committed team-player
• Willingness to grow in a high pressure environment
• International mindset
• Fluent in English
