Hyperion Development is a startup in the Online education/edtech space in South Africa. We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing and Sales Intern to join our Digital Sales department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

As a Digital Marketing and Sales Intern, you will collaborate with our Digital Sales team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

• Administrative tasks aligned to Marketing & Sales
• Research and Development
• Content writing
• Creating a competitor analysis and reporting
• Taking responsibility for various marketing admin functions
• Analysing Adwords/Google Analytics and providing weekly reports
• Segmenting data on the CRM/Mailing lists
• Assist with Email Marketing campaigns
• Reporting on social media performance
• Automated CRM management

Skills And Requirements

Requirements

• A degree/ diploma in a Digital Marketing & Sales related course or busy completing.
• Good communication skills
• Good writing ability
• The ability to pay attention to detail
• Proactive problem solver
• Good IT /digital skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Docs
• Creativity
• Analytic and data driven metrics
• Intellectual curiousity
• Must be able to work in a team

It Would However Be An Advantage If You Had Some Experience With

No previous experience is necessary. As long as you are a quick learner, good with the internet, have the right attitude and can pay attention to detail.
