Job description
Our Client, a JSE listed and one of the most branded FMCG companies has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Logistics professional to assist with the development and implementation of procurement and distribution strategies necessary to sustain and grow the site’s profitability and to implement the annual business plan relevant to their operations.
You will be required to oversee the procurement, inventory control, warehousing and distribution function at the site. Your acquired people leadership skills will come in handy when managing the logistics team’s performance as well as coordinating, delegating and motivating them. Your effective stakeholder engagement ability will be put to the test when liaising with existing suppliers in terms of forecasted requirements as well as pricing.
A relevant Degree/National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent coupled with at least 3 to 5 years Logistics management experience within a FMCG environment is required.
