• Opportunities exist within the South African subsidiary of a global automotive components manufacturing group for the appointment of Plant, Production and Logistics Managers.
• Ideal candidates will be high potential individuals who are able to operate effectively in a pressurised, fast-paced environment.
• They will have a clear focus on quality and maintenance with a continuous improvement mind-set.
• In addition to achieving set objectives, a key aspect of these positions will be the effective management of a team of employees in each operational area.
• The individuals must be able to set clear targets, evaluate, measure and develop employees to reach their potential, while managing key performance indicators.

Requirements

Ideally Production Engineering qualifications combined with experience gained in team management, in relevant roles, in an automotive industry environment.

Operational knowledge of production methods (such as, Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM, GPAO).
