Job description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Application technical support and report development, with a strong focus on SSRS Reports development and extensive experience on .NET VB, Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server Management Studio.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide application (Reporting Services) support
• SQL (Microsoft SQL) development
• Query Optimisation
• Report development (Microsoft SSRS, Visual Studio)
• Root cause analysis of problems
• Assist the business with daily reporting issues
• Analyse report request and understand clients needs
• Replicate errors
• Liaise with analysts and/or developers and define, agree and document the solution through the log or report request forms

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Application/ERP support
• Microsoft Certification (T-SQL Developer and .Net Developer ) advantageous
• Oracle/PL-SQL experience advantageous

Must have a good understanding of the following areas:
