Site Engineer at Aurecon

Job description

Aurecon is looking for a Site Engineer to join their Sandton Offices. The person will be situated in Rivonia and will be required as a full time site engineer for approximately 15 months.

The individual needs to be experienced and capable of communicating site issues back to the engineers in the office.

Formal Qualification

• B. Eng. or Pr. Tech.
• Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience.
• Experience in steel structures / concrete.
• Experience in façade systems and engineering.
• Experience in working in multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Experience in working with clients.

Responsibilities

• Competent to make decisions on site and revert site issues to the office team for resolutions.
• Implementation of all relevant codes of practice.
• Ensure that all work complies with AURECON's quality control procedures.
• Construction Supervision.

Computer Competency Requirements

• MS Office
• MS Word
• Languages (Written & Spoken)

English
