Job Role

• To provide the Project Engineering department with specialized skills utilizing civil, structural, mechanical and electrical experience in the management and execution of Capital projects within Simba BU.Conduct assessments and generate order of magnitude costing to provide project feasibility insights.
• Directs the change management process for Capex projects and ensures that all impacts, aspects and risks are managed.
• Develops complete scope, URS documents and CARs for all assigned projects and supports achievement of Plant specific Capital plans in line with AOP.
• Planning and execution of Mech, Electrical and Civils Capex projects and capitalized maintenance of Plant and Equipment.
• Lead front end and detail design for growth projects and ensure alignment and design input from PepsiCo Central Tech Services.
• Accountable for cost management, schedule control and procurement related to key and assigned projects.
• Collaborates with Purchasing Manager in the running of closed tender process.
  Provide summarized and detailed monthly Project Updates to local BU, Region and Sector

Requirement:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering i.e. NDip,BTech or BSC in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering
