• Model solutions to meet requirements that adhere to the given standards and guidelines
• Develop products and solutions according to specifications
• Strong BI Report Writing Skills
• Produce supporting technical documentation for deployment and maintenance purposes
• Troubleshoot and maintain solutions
• Version control solutions
• Setup technical QA use cases for specific solutions
• Perform technical QA against solutions including writing and executing test scripts
• Compare developed solutions against original prototype and provide results
• Optimize solutions for performance and maintainability
• Manage connections and access to solutions during the development life cycle
• Create and maintain SQL data warehouses according to existing best practices
• Develop, maintain and enhance SSAS cubes for efficiency and performance
• Propose new solutions keeping in line with current architecture

COMPETENCIES:

Functional

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with BI data solutions
• Minimum of 3 year’s experience working with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS or similar tools
• Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL and TSQL
• Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
• Solid understanding of the SDLC lifecycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
• Understanding of systems and architecture (DB's, Servers, Networks etc.)
• Good understanding of database technology
• Dimensional modeling experience
• ETL Design experience
• Data extraction and manipulation experience
• Experience with ETL tools
• Experience in data replication, extraction, loading and cleansing
• Exposure to with BI tools that utilize a semantic layer is beneficial
