Specialist: Risk Analyst at AfroCentric Group

Job description

Key Role: To be responsible for conducting risk assessments. To facilitate the identification of risks and business continuity vulnerabilities. To facilitate the implementation of Risk Management frameworks, testing and monitoring. Analyse risks and generate relevant recommendations to ensure efficient and effective operations. To provide advice to business units on risk related matters.

Core Tasks:

• Analyse risk incidents logged, identify problems and develop and propose solutions to present to appropriate leader or stakeholders
• Implement practical solutions that use the specialist and departmental systems and processes
• Support the identification, development and implementation of cost-effective processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers related to area of specialisation
• Manage the risk registers for area of responsibility and assist Risk Champions with addressing efficiency, compliance and quality objectives
• Continually increase understanding of client and stakeholder needs, satisfaction and service delivery
• Issue timely and comprehensive risk reports on a monthly basis to internal stakeholders
• Assist business in setting action plans to address risk

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years experience in risk management or internal audit
