Reporting to: Business Development Executive

Purpose of the job: To meet marketing briefs through the application of provided design elements or converting written/spoken ideas seamlessly onto layouts/designs in line with brand guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Create designs that meet brand goals and brief by consulting with marketing to understand their requirements and needs.
• Coordinate key design elements from agencies to ensure these are applied according to the “brand bible/brand guidelines”
• Designs and produces artwork required for packaging, point-of-sale, posters, charts, signs, graphs, etc
• Liaise with printing agencies to prepare all visual aspects in terms of layouts, designs and artworks in the applicable formats (for printing purposes) and manage process in line with brief
• Maintains a database archive system with references (all open file artworks) for all developed artwork to be able to re-use design elements which supports cost efficiency
• Tracks and manages own workload to ensure designs are delivered on time and in full (project management)

Qualifications & Experience:

• FMCG industry 3 years
• Marketing or Agency work experience - 3 years
• Graphic design qualification
• Any marketing related qualification
