Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support the bank process and business analysis team in driving the implementation of DevOps principles and practices across the group technology portfolio
• Assist in driving the enterprise DevOps transformatio for the bank
• -Guiding solution delivery teams and the organisatio on how to use DevOps practices and values
• -Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be advised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
• Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictacting the work
• Facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
• Assising iwith internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
• Define change management practices, plan change deployment, administer change and implement solution for communicating new and changed policies
• Provide guidance and support to improved initiatives and ensure best practice is applied
• Preparing reports (progress/managerial) report to relevant stakeholders and manage the cost and time constraints of process improvements
• Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example

Requirements:

• Business, IT or Engineering Degree
• Relevant Agile Certifications (Agile Project Management registered practitioner, Scrum Product Owner, Agile team facilitation)
• ITIL Intermediate qualification required
• Project management qualification (PMP and or PRINCE2)
• Process Engineering methods and techniques like Lean, 6 Sigma, Outside In, CMM, Theory of Constraints, Root cause analysis etc
• Membership of professional body/association

Skills

• Has filled a role as a Senior Process Engineer (minimum of 7 years please note not mapping process for 7 years but engineering processes for 7 years)
• Has project mangement experience
• Has end-to-end lifecycle experience
• Understand process architecture and able to use process modelling toolsets
• Prrocess measurements (metrics/KPIs/CSF), process risk/controls, data & informatio flow mapping
• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) practices
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, DSDM, TSP, Crystal, FDD, etc.
• Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: eg. User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Intergration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Knowlede of DevOps practices
• Proven record of involvement across the continuous Delivery lifecycle

Technical Skills

• Indepth understanding od iterative development
• Understand other methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
• Understand basic fundamentals of software developemt and IT operrations processes and procedures
• Must have advanced process re-engineering experience
