Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, and build strong relationship with implementation partners/vendors including contractors and municipalities.
• Plan, develop and manage the schedule of Vumatel’s FTTH rollout into multiple new areas.
• Drive and manage end to end deployment process – planning of projects to
• project sign off.
• Manage multiple project management teams to ensure on time delivery.
• Drive schedule and production of teams.
• Ensure network build quality.
• Manage cost of deployment.
• Escalations management.
• Ad Hoc duties assigned from management.
• Project and program management experience.
• Civil experience.
• Strategic and problem solving skills.
• Strong vendor/supplier management experience.
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under high pressure and deliver to deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s license & vehicle.

You will need

• 5- 10 years experience in senior project/program management role.
• At least 5 years people management.
• Tertiary qualification required - engineering degree preferable.
• Fibre/telecoms experience preferable.
