    Key Accounts Manager

    Job description

    Randburg - R25k + cell allowance + KPI + travel expenses

    This growing national company within the distribution and warehousing space is looking for an "on the ball", dynamic KAM who has also been exposed possibly to various events functions and who has worked in the distribution / warehousing / logistics space.

    • Managing the relationship with the client to high standards
    • Interface with client and key account co-ordinators
    • Identifies client requirements
    • Determines availability and promotes company services
    • Mediates process, resolves issues
    • Executes within the service level agreement
    • Play major role in providing client consultation
    • Knowledge and awareness of clients organisation and structure
    • Staying ware of client news and changes
    • Maintenance of client records and updating of changes
    • Communicates, monitors and assures accurate billing procedures
    • Establishes and promotes goodwill with customer
    • Reviews client history and contacts customer as follow up activity
    • Financial controls and ensuring responsible budget management at all levels
    • Analyse and interpret key account performance information and ensure daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of relevant performance metrics
    • Manage suppliers confidently and ensure delivery on supplier SLA’s
    • Building relationships with both external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors etc.), as well as internal stakeholders
    • Manages support services internally such as finance and HR affecting the client
    • Manages work order facilitation
    • Planning meetings facilitation and close off
    • Receive Client Planning requirements and translate into actionable, understandable distribution plans with realistic close off as required
    • Self-measurement on service levels and presentation to directors
    • Follow through on insurance claims
    • Act as a point of contact for ensuring excellence and accuracy in distribution feedback to client issues
    • Matric with experience in key accounts management
    • Have worked within the FMCG / Distribution / Warehousing / Events spaces
    • Own car

    R25k CTC depending on skills and experience
