• Develop the project concept and business case (feasibility) and represent proposals for approval.
• Obtain capex approval
• Manage the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues
• Coordinate responses to internal and external customers with regards to Technical Queries
• Co-ordination of program or project planning and implementation.
• Maintain and control the maintenance for the Projects and ensure they are current.
• Draft and prepare the Project plan, Project Risk Register, Scope of work, URS’s and SOP’s.
• Prepare Change controls for changes or additions to an existing plant, system or machine.
• Report sub functions and ensure that it runs on time, on budget and highlighting potential risks.
• Provide detailed co-ordination of various consulting disciplines
• Ensure the quality of the project output as defined by the projects in the facility.

Requirements

• Matric
• BSc/Btech Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Mechatronics or relevant experience to meet the required objectives.
• Project Management certification an advantage
• Microsoft Project literacy is essential
• Basic technical ICT knowledge with the ability to develop
• More than 8 years Maintenance or Project experience.
• Pharmaceutical Industry project experience of at least 3-5 years.
• System platform development experience
• InBatch implementation experience
• SQL database development experience
• Siemens PLC and HMI experience
• RF ID implementation execution systems
• Barcode scanning development and implementation
• Exposure to IPC system
• Exposure to OEE performance and reporting
• Industrial networking and IT interfacing
• InTeletrac schedule system experience
• Software back-up execution systems
• MS project and Autocad knowledge
• Integration into ERP systems
• OPC communication protocols
• Information server and Web development
• Process analysis and improvements(CI)
