Job description

Main Purpose is to demonstrate UD Trucks in order to maximise the capabilities and performance of the vehicles whilst insuring the lowest possible running cost.

Job Objectives

• To strengthen the brand in the market place by proving to fleet customers the effectiveness of UD.
• To support the Sales Department in achieving sales targets through the proper demonstration of UD products.
• To provide expert advice to customers in all aspects of driver skills and vehicle safety to prove the efficiency of the trucks.
• To compile written reports on specific customer demonstrations as well as driver skills analysed in order to improve the productivity of the vehicle(s).
• To effectively manage time to ensure the professional service and support of all customers in the network.
• To manage all expenses in line with the business plan parameters ensuring lowest possible expenditure.

Education

• Grade 10.
• EC Driver's Licence with PDP.

Job Experience

5 years truck driver experience preferably on extra heavy commercial vehicles.

Job Knowledge

• Proper Truck Road Usage (XHCV).
• Basic South African Road Legislation.
• Basic Truck Mechanical Operation.
• Truck Related Product Knowledge.
