    Manager: Specialised Centralised Collections

    Job description

    I'm looking for the above, combined with your knowledge of a Collections environment and your proven track record of managing large diverse teams!

    This roles purpose is to maximise the rehabilitation of clients within Centralised Collections through the management of technology and operational activities. To manage and enhance Database enrichment through Trace activities and manage all new collections products, policy changes and any champion/challenger collection activities.

    Whilst using Innovation and Technology to create a World Class Collections department!!

    The non-negotiables:

    • 3 year Degree in Credit / Business Management
    • At least 5yrs experience in managing and leading a high performance team
    • Collections and/or Call Centre management experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of:
    • Commercial and business imperatives regarding financial service / credit / collections environment (required)
    • People management and development practices
    • Call Centre Technology

    Experience Min:

    • At least 5yrs experience in managing and leading a high performance team
    • Collections and/or Call Centre management
    • Report writing (Executive level)
    • Report analysis

    Ideal:

    • Extensive Collections Call Centre management in a constantly changing environment
    • Extensive experience across Contact Centre technology platforms
    • Experience with digital tools to enhance collection strategies and payment channels
    • Experience within a Fintech environment

    Skills:

    • Report writing and Analysis
    • Communication skills (verbal and written) in English
    • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook), with MS Excel at least at intermediate level
    • Strategy design and implementation
    • Client service orientation
    • Commercial awareness and business acumen
    • Negotiation and persuasion
    • Problem solving
    • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
    • Attention to detail (accuracy)
    • Planning and organisational skills
