    Instructional Designer (Marketing)

    Job description

    ROLE PURPOSE:

    Design and maintain learning and development courses and programs on the eLearning platform and ensure learning content and design approach support operational and business needs.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Three year degree or marketing related diploma
    • Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • 3-5 years working experience in the Life Insurance and/or Financial Services industry
    • 2-3 years' experience in marketing communication and translating technical information into client friendly communication

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Design and develop innovative tools, modules, applications and material for all print, web-based and other electronic media aimed at both financial advisers and client engagements. This collateral supports the client value proposition and brings the identified client experiences to life.
    • Clearly and accurately explain the solution, its more advanced features, and how to use and implement them through the supporting collateral.
    • Create and adjust all content copy as necessary and apply language, grammar and spelling checks. Proofread all final documents.
    • Maintain the marketing material and associated communication across print, web-based and other electronic media
    • Co-create the client conversion strategy
    • Monitor and analyse client experience, distribution experience and sales volumes in order to do recommendations that will enhance the processes
    • Give input into solutions design, programme development, and advertising to monitor consistency in all client-facing communication
    • Monitor solution technical accuracy across the content of various media for all financial adviser and client engagements.
    • Provide the training, marketing and channel support teams with the information/content to help them create their training documents to ensure correct knowledge transfer to the sales force.
    • Review training material to monitor relevance, quality and consistency
    • Engage with the solution design, technical development, marketing and channel support teams to ensure success with major design, development, deployments, pilots and launches.
    • Develop support material for launches of modules and solutions, and participate in road shows
    • Attend to and assist with all queries from the users of the marketing material
    • Co-ordinate and monitor project deliverables from end to end to ensure successful delivery of marketing material
